Overview
ATA Career Education is an institution designed to prepare its students for specific types of jobs in the fields of healthcare and information technology. Located in Louisville, Kentucky, with a satellite branch in Arnold, Missouri, ATA evolved in 1994 from a former consulting and training company. The school focuses on instruction, training and career placement for the following career paths: Professional Coding, Dental Assistant, Medical Office Assistant, and Network Professional. ATA Admissions Process
A simplified application process makes it easy to enroll at ATA Career Education. An Admissions Representative will help prospective students choose the program that provides the best fit for them, and then guides the student through the submittal of the Application Packet. A financial aid representative will meet with the student to discuss the amount and nature of Federal Financial Aid available.
ATA Faculty Credentials
ATA recruits highly trained professionals as instructors. Faculty members not only teach their specialties, but also work in them, making the instructors knowledgeable and up-to-date on the most current aspects of their field.

Students at the institution are by and large individuals motivated to furthering their education in a way that will improve their career status in the healthcare or information technology fields in the course of a year or less.
Student Life
Students are not housed on-campus, but instead travel there to attend classes and undergo hands-on training. Classes are offered during both day and evening in order to accommodate the widest possible variety of student needs. Students are also offered networking opportunities and access to job fairs in order to maximize career opportunities. Upon successful completion of the program, ATA graduates are invited back to re-take courses at no additional charge in order to remain current and keep up with emergent developments in their professions.
