Berkshire Community College, also known as BCC, was established in 1960. It is a two-year community college and is situated in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. The main campus is spread across an area of 180 acres. It also has a satellite facility located in Great Barrington. BCC offers more than 30 associate’s degrees and over 10 certificate programs in various streams of study. The institution provides online educational programs as well.

Berkshire Community College has an active sports life. The athletics department sponsors several competitive club teams and intramural sports teams. Students are also members of several clubs and organizations. Among those available on campus are the Diversity Club, Art Club, Environmental Conservation Club, G.I.R.O. (Global Issues Resource Organization), Phi Theta Kappa, Student Government Association, Tutor Club, Zine, and Student Nurse Organization.
