Black River Technical College is a public, community college located in Pocahontas, Arkansas. It is named after the Black River, which runs through the city. It was established in 1972 as the Black River Vocational Technical School. The college offers a wide variety of higher educational programs in diverse areas of study. The campus is spread across an area of more than 95 acres.
BRTC has an active student life. The campus hosts a wide variety of student clubs and organizations. Financial aid is also offered by the college.
