Blackhawk Technical College

Blackhawk Technical College, also referred to as Blackhawk Tech or BTC, is located in Janesville, Wisconsin, United States. It was founded by merging the vocational schools of Janesville, Wisconsin, and Beloit, Wisconsin, on July 1, 1968. It was initially named Blackhawk Technical Institute. In August 1987, the college was renamed Blackhawk Technical College.

The campus spreads across an area of approximately 80 acres. In addition, BTC has several satellite campuses and it operates an Aviation Center located at Southern Wisconsin Regional Airport. The college offers a number of associate degrees and certificate programs in diverse areas of study.

BTC offers several scholarship programs including the BTC Foundation Scholarship, Governmental Information Processing Association of Wisconsin Scholarships, Amy Hunter-Wilson, MD Scholarship, U.S. Army Women’s Foundation Legacy Scholarship, Hispanic Scholarship Fund, and Voice Solutions Scholarships.
