Overview of Blue Cliff College
Blue Cliff College was established in 1987 in New Orleans to provide training in the field of massage therapy. Additional campuses have since been established and acquired so that there are now seven locations: Five carrying the Blue Cliff College name plus two others - Massage Therapy College of Baton Rouge and White River School of Massage in Fayetteville, AR. In additional to its physical expansion, the school has leveraged its reputation in massage therapy to provide additional career training programs.
Massage Therapy College of Baton Rouge is accredited by the Commission On Massage Therapy Accreditation (COMTA). All other locations have received accreditation from ACCSCT (Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology).

Areas of Study
Although massage therapy remains an important part of the school’s educational mission, additional career programs in health care and criminal justice have been added. Students at the school receive a diploma for successfully completing their training programs.
Blue Cliff College Admissions
The core of the admissions requirements consists of: Proof of high school graduation (GED is also acceptable); minimum age of eighteen years; an interview at the school to determine interest and ability.
As is the case with all schools, students must be able to meet the financial obligations of tuition to attend the school. Blue Cliff College participates in federal and other assistance programs so qualified students can receive aid from Pell grants, Stafford and other federal loan programs, and other forms of aid.

Blue Cliff College’s practical approach to education calls for faculty members with ample and relevant experience in the areas that they teach.

Most campuses are fairly small, with roughly 100 or fewer students enrolled in each location. The student population is made up of mostly of female students.
