Blue Ridge Community College, also known as BRCC, was established in 1969. BRCC is a community college and is located in Flat Rock, Henderson County, North Carolina. The campus of the institution consists of 10 buildings which are spread across an area of 140 acres. The institution offers degrees in more than 25 fields of study. A number of diploma courses are also available. Apart from these, students can also opt for special certificate and articulated programs. BRCC is organized into the following academic divisions:

  • Division of Business and Humanities
  • Division of Life Sciences and Human Services
  • Division of Mathematics, Physical Sciences and Technology

Blue Ridge Community College competes in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division I. The sports teams are known as the Bears, and they participate in baseball and volleyball. The students are also members of clubs and organizations like the Alpha Beta Gamma Business Honor Society, Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society, Blue Ridge Buddies Club, Blue Ridge Christian Fellowship, and Environmental Awareness Club.
