Overview of Bradford School Columbus
With the goal of providing students with marketable skills, Bradford School Columbus provides hands-on, practical training to those living Columbus area (and beyond).
The school is actually one of a network of career institutes across the U.S. (mostly in the Midwest) owned by Bradford Schools, Inc.

Areas of Study
The school’s programs fall into the broad categories of Technology, Health, Business and Culinary Arts. All of the programs, such as Veterinary Technician , Network Management, and Accounting, within these areas of study provide students with specific jobs skills to launch their careers. The school is accredited to confer associate’s degrees and diplomas. Detailed program listings are shown below.
Bradford School Columbus Admissions and Financial Aid
Students who have successfully completed high school or have passed the GED are invited to apply for admission. SATs and ACTs tests do not need to be taken or reported to the school. A visit to the school is encouraged.
Assistance with meeting tuition payments may be available to students in need. Federal grants and loans may be available along with other forms of financial aid.
Bradford School Columbus Faculty Quality
Students learn their trade from seasoned professionals who have “been there and done that”. Hiring instructors with such real world skills is consistent with the school’s hands-on orientation.
Bradford School Columbus Student Body
There were about 400 students attending the school based on enrollment data from the fall of 2005. The vast majority of students at the school are female; about a quarter of the enrolled students are African-American.

The school’s sponsored housing is a rare feature of career-oriented schools that are usually commuter-only institutions.
