Bramson ORT College traces its roots to Bramson ORT which was founded in 1942 to serve refugees and immigrants during the Second World War. It became a technical, undergraduate college in 1977. The main campus of this Organization for Educational Resource and Technological Training (ORT) college is located in Forest Hills, Queens, New York, but Bramson ORT College also operates a satellite site in Brooklyn, New York.

Bramson ORT College offers associate's degrees, certificates, and diploma programs of study. Courses are offered in accounting, business management, computer technology, electronics technology, liberal arts, office technology, and medical and natural sciences. Distance learning opportunities are also available at the college.

Students are provided financial assistance, as well as job placement services. Eligible candidates can apply for aid through Federal PELL Grants, FSEOG, Perkins loans, Stafford Loans, Plus Loans, Work Study programs, Bramson ORT Tuition Assistance Grant, and New York State Tuition Assistance Program. In addition, the college grants the Bramson ORT College Scholarships.
