Brevard College (BC) is a small undergraduate liberal arts college in Brevard, North Carolina that was formed in 1934 following the merger of Rutherford College and Weaver College. The 120 acre college campus is located in the heart of Brevard in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. It is also proximite to Pisgah National Forest and the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Brevard College provides over 40 majors and minors ranging from organizational management to wilderness leadership and experiential education. The athletic teams, which are known as the Tornadoes, participate in men’s baseball, basketball, cross country, women’s softball track and field, soccer, and tennis among other sports. There is a plethora of student clubs and organizations like the BC DiscGolf, Ninpo Tai Jutsuu, Paddling Club and Serenity Women’s A Capella.
