Over the years, it has changed its name and expanded its school system to include more than 25 schools in 15 states across the U.S. Students attending any one of the campus sites can find help with their education in the form of advising, career guidance, financial aid and tutoring. All of the the instruction is delivered face-to-face, and includes academic programs as varied as business, childhood education, construction, health and wellness, nursing, veterinary technology and others.
Points of Distinction
The faculty at Brown Mackie College are experienced in instruction, no matter what kind of program they help students work toward: a diploma, associate or bachelor's degree. These educators take a "change-oriented" approach to their instruction, working to arm you with the abilities and know-how needed for various entry-level positions in fields as varied as allied health, business, law and technology.
Students and staff make it a point to become involved in the community, volunteering their time and efforts to giving back. In fact, this community involvement is considered a "common thread" across all the campus sites, no matter what part of the country the school is located in. Each school also provides a book store at which students can buy textbooks, study guides, needed supplies and, of course, the college apparel to show what school they attend.
