Butler University, BU, is a private co-educational university in Indianapolis, Indiana that was founded in 1855. It sits on a 290 acre campus and offers programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels in areas like business, health science, and fine arts. The colleges of the university are as follows:

Butler University, which participates in the NCAA Division I Horizon League and the Pioneer Football League, has teams in baseball, basketball, cross country, football, golf, tennis, track and field, and volleyball.
