California Lutheran University, also referred to as CLU or Cal Lutheran, is located in Thousand Oaks, California, United States. It was established in the year 1959 and is under the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Initially, the university was known as California Lutheran College. CLU gained university status in 1986. The campus spreads over an area of more than 220 acres. Students are offered degrees through the schools and college of the university, which are:

  • College of Arts and Sciences
  • School of Business
  • School of Education

The male students of CLU participate in sports such as baseball, golf, football, basketball, water polo, cross country, swimming and diving, tennis, soccer, and track and field. The female students participate in basketball, softball, volleyball, swimming and diving, cross country, track and field, water polo, and tennis.
