Campbellsville University, also known as CU, was established in 1906. It is a private four-year college and is located in Campbellsville, Kentucky. The campus of the university is spread across an area of 80 acres. The institution provides associate's, bachelor's, and master's degrees in diverse fields of study. A number of pre-professional programs are also offered. Programs in continuing education and adult education are also available in CU. The university is organized in the following academic divisions:

CU sponsors more than 15 athletic teams. The university teams are nicknamed as the Tigers. The tigers compete in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics and participate in sports activities including volleyball, tennis, softball, baseball, and basketball.
