Capital Community College is a community college located in Hartford, Connecticut, United States. It is the only public undergraduate institution in the City of Hartford. Capital Community College was established in 1967 as Greater Hartford Community College. It merged with Hartford State Technical College in 1992 to become Capital Community-Technical College and became Capital Community College in 2000. The college offers a wide variety of degrees and programs in diverse areas of study. It also offers continuing education programs.
Capital College has an active student life and houses more than 20 Student Organizations on campus including the Phi Theta Kappa Society, the Latin American Students Association, and The Martial Arts Club among others.
