Career Centers of Texas is a career-oriented school with campuses located in Brownsville, Corpus Christi, El Paso and Fort Worth Texas. The school is owned by Kaplan Inc. Career Centers of Texas provides education programs in some of the fastest growing fields as projected by the U.S. Department of Labor. The programs blend professional skills, career-focused learning and general education.
The programs are designed to meet the demands of employers. The teaching methods utilized in the courses are based on adult learning theory. In addition, the students may select from day and evening classes. Also, the programs available vary by campus. Accreditation has been provided by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology.
