The Career Training Academy (CTA) is a network of schools that provides career education for students interested in working in the allied health fields. The main campus is located in New Kensington, Pennsylvania, with two branch campuses located in Pittsburgh and Monroeville, Pennsylvania. Areas of concentration include dental assisting, medical assisting, medical billing and coding, and massage therapy. Depending upon the program selected, students are awarded either a diploma or associate degree upon completion.
The Career Training Academy is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC) and licensed by the State Board of Private Licensed Schools, Pennsylvania Department of Education.
The faculty at the Career Training Academy are dedicated to providing hands-on career training to their students. Curriculum is career oriented and is designed to meet the needs of each specific industry. CTA strives to provide a caring educational environment that allows students to reach their full potential.
The Career Training Academy is a commuter school and does not offer students on-campus housing arrangements. Training at CTA consists of hands-on learning in a supportive and caring environment. Most students can complete their program in less than one year. CTA provides opportunities for students to gain real-world experience through their externship program. Alumni may audit any class that they have previously taken at no additional cost. The Career Training Academy encourages each student to take an active role in one of their various community service projects. Financial aid is available to those who qualify.
