Carl Albert State College, also known as CASC, is located in Poteau, Oklahoma, United States. It was founded in the year 1933 as Poteau Junior College. The name was changed to Carl Albert State College in the year 1971. CASC operates smaller campuses in Idabel and Sallisaw. CASC offers more than 20 academic degree programs in several areas of study including business administration and art. CASC also provides web-based classes.

Carl Albert State College's athletics department fields a number of men's and women's sports teams. They compete in the National Junior College Athletic Association. The teams are nicknamed the Vikings, and they participate in sports such as baseball, softball, and basketball.
