Carroll College is located in Waukesha, Wisconsin, United States. It was initially established as Prairieville Academy in 1841. Five yeas later, it became Carroll College following a charter by the Wisconsin Territorial Legislature. On July 1, 2008, this private college became Carroll University. It currently offers enrollment to more than 3,000 undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Carroll University offers undergraduate degrees in the fields of humanities and social sciences and natural and health sciences. It also offers master degrees in education and software engineering. In addition, there are special programs in professional and graduate studies.

The athletics department of Carroll University fields men’s and women’s sports teams in basketball, swimming, baseball, cross country, football, golf, indoor and outdoor track, soccer, softball, tennis, and volleyball. The teams are known as the Pioneers.
