Cedar Valley College, CVC, is a community college in Lancaster, Texas that was founded in 1977. It offers programs at the certificate and associate’s degree levels in areas like art, science, humanities, and teaching. The college also offers programs in academic, development, and technical disciplines. Distance learning facilities are also available for various courses at the college.

CVC is a member of the Metro Athletic Conference and participates in the NJCAA Division III sports. The athletics teams are nicknamed the Cedar Valley Suns or simply the Suns. Students participate in basketball, baseball, soccer, and volleyball. The college has a vibrant campus life and students can choose from over twenty clubs and organizations including Phi Theta Kappa, Omega Journeyman and the Gamers on Campus Organization. Loans are also available for students trying to secure financial aid. Awards and scholarships are also given to those who are eligible.
