Founded in the year 1965, Central Texas College or CTC is a community college, located in Killeen, Texas. Due to its proximity to Fort Hood, CTC evolved from a small junior college into a full time college catering to the military. Besides the central campus, CTC also runs a Continental campus, a Navy campus, a European campus, a campus in the Pacific Far East and a separate campus on Fort Hood.

CTC holds many classes at various military bases and also offers distance learning courses and online training. It ranks 5th in the nation among all colleges and universities in terms of online enrollment.

CTC offers a number of two year associate degree programs in diverse fields such as computer science, nursing, journalism and so forth.
