Overview of Certified Careers Institute
Established in 1983 with the original mission of providing training for computer programmers, technicians, and data processors, Certified Careers Institute (CCI) has since evolved to an institute which now offers hands-on training and career-focused programs in fields which include business administration, network administration, website/graphic design, medical assisting, medical office specialization, dental assisting, and massage therapy. Originally situated in Salt Lake City, Utah, CCI opened a branch campus in Ogden in 1988. Since that time, both campuses relocated to their current Utah campus locations in Salt Lake City and Clearfield. Programs at CCI are eight months in duration, including hands-on externship training. CCI training equips students with the specific skills that will enable them to work in a number of different office environments.
