Chadron State College, also known as CSC, is located in Chadron, Nebraska, United States. It was established in 1909, and the first classes were held in June 1911. Joseph Sparks was CSC's first President. The college is part of the Nebraska State College System. CSC encompasses more than 280 acres, and the campus has approximately 25 major buildings, of which 5 are listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
