Founded in 1883, Chaffey College is a public community college in the San Bernardino County city of Rancho Cucamonga, California. This area is located in the northern part of the community of Alta Loma. The college provides the students with a variety of classes and programs in different fields of study like business, science, the arts, and RN and LVN nursing programs. It is one of the oldest community colleges in California. The college also offers various distance learning programs; It also confers online certificates.

The sports teams of Chaffey College are nicknamed the Panthers. The teams participate in various sports like football, soccer, volleyball, water polo, basketball, softball and swimming. Some of the notable alumni of the college are Beverly Cleary, author and recipient of 1984 Newbery Medal; Ron Catalano, the famous musician and Meagan Tandy, Miss California USA 2007.
