The sports teams of the University are known as the Golden Eagles. The official mascot is the Golden Eagle. The University sponsors many intercollegiate sports teams. Men can participate in baseball, basketball, cross country, golf, football, swimming, track and field, and wrestling. Women can participate in basketball, softball, cross country, soccer, swimming, track, volleyball, and tennis.
