Clarkson University is situated in Potsdam, New York, United States. It was founded in the year 1896 as the Thomas S. Clarkson Memorial School of Technology. It became a university in 1984. The university fields a wide range of men’s and women’s sports teams known as the Golden Knights. The male students compete in sports such as basketball, cross country, alpine ski, hockey, golf, baseball, Nordic ski, lacrosse, swimming and soccer.
