Founded in 1980, Clayton College of Natural Health (CCNH) offers degree and certificate programs in Holistic Nutrition and Natural Health. For over 20 years, the College has relied on the distance learning format for its coursework. Students can study at their own pace, create their own learning environment, and fit their studies into their personal schedules. The College is headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama.

The enrollment process is very simple. It may be done by phone, online, mail or fax. Applicants should submit an application, a short essay explaining their reasons for wanting to enroll and their initial payment. Qualifications for admission include a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Instructors at CCNH are professionals who are knowledgeable in their field. Among the professions represented in the faculty are: master herbalist, massage therapist, professional counselor, doctor of naturopathy, chiropractor, energy worker, and physician. Every student at CCNH is assigned a faculty advisor whose main role is to facilitate the student’s learning process. Advisors provide support with learning materials and also guide students in completing courses on time. All advisors are available by phone, fax or email, five days a week during normal business hours. The social hub of the College is its Holistic Connection. This is where bulletin boards are located and where weekly chats with faculty are conducted. Chat rooms are available for use by students and graduates 24/7.
