Clovis Adult Education, which was established in 1968, is located in Clovis, California. Popularly referred to as CAE, the institute also operates the Community Technology Center in Fresno, California. In addition, it offers classes in several schools throughout the Clovis/ Fresno area. CAE offers enrollment to around 15,000 students every year, including a number of nonimmigrant alien candidates.

Clovis Adult Education provides certificate courses in the fields of nurse education, medical assisting, health and fitness, arts, communications, business and management, and technology. Students are also offered programs in GED preparation, English as a Second Language, self enrichment, and family literacy.

A variety of student support services are provided by Clovis Adult Education including academic and career counseling, as well as financial assistance. Eligible candidates enrolled in a certified program can apply for Federal Pell Grants.
