Coe College, a private four-year, co-educational institution established in 1851, is a liberal arts college located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. It is a selective institution with a residential campus which covers about 50 acres. Catering to around 1,300 students, it is one of the smaller universities which have a chapter of Phi Beta Kappa.

Coe College offers a wide range of under-graduate and graduate courses. Bachelors in Arts, Music and Nursing are some of the major courses that it is known for. The college also offers a masters degree in the Art of Teaching. Apart from this, Coe is recognized as one of the finest liberal arts colleges and has a number of well-respected publications.

The College fields a number of men’s and women’s sports teams, including basketball, cross-country, wrestling and swimming. The teams participate in the Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
