Overview of Coleman College
Coleman College is a San Diego-based technical school which was started in 1963 during the leading edge of the Information Technology (IT) age. The College is nationally recognized as a leader in IT education, providing accelerated career training which has helped its graduates become leaders in the IT industry. The first campus was located in downtown San Diego, California. There is now a second San Diego County campus in San Marcos. Coleman offers a unique "inverted curriculum" educational approach. Students get their career training first, allowing them to become qualified for a computer-related position in a matter of months. After earning a certificate and starting a career, graduates may then return to Coleman in the evening to complete an associate, bachelor's or master's degree. Coleman also offers an online program.
