College of Biblical Studies - Houston, also referred to as CBS-Houston, is a private, coeducational, Christian college located in Houston, Texas, United States. It was established in 1976 under the name of Houston Bible & Vocational Institute. In 1996, the institution was certified as a college by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, and was given the present name. The campus of the college spreads across 14 acres of suburban land.
The college provides associate and bachelor's degrees in Bible studies, Christian leadership and Biblical counseling. The college offers an Academic Competitiveness Grant to deserving students every year. A PLUS loan is also offered to parents who need support for their children's education.
