College Of DuPage

The College of DuPage, or COD, was established in 1967 as a 2-year community college. The college enrolls over 25,000 students every year. COD offers associate’s degrees in arts, science, engineering, applied science, general studies, fine arts and music. There are also several adult education, continuing education and special interest programs.

The College of DuPage’s sports teams are called the Chaparrals. The men's sports include basketball, baseball, American football, swimming, golf, soccer, tennis, cross country, and track & field. Women’s teams are for basketball, cross country, soccer, swimming, tennis, softball, volleyball, and track & field. The Chaparrals have won a number of NJCAA basketball championships.

COD alumnus include award winning film/ music sound mixer Michael Herbick, American comedy writer and actor Bob Odenkirk, actor and comedian Sean Hayes, and NFL football player Paul Spicer.
