The College of Mount St. Joseph was established by the Sisters of Charity in 1920. This private coeducational Roman Catholic college is located on a 92-acre campus in Cincinnati, Ohio. Often referred to as “The Mount”, the college's recent enrollments have exceeded 2,000 students.
More than 30 undergraduate programs, and several associate’s degrees, certificates and pre-professional programs, and graduate programs are offered by the College of Mount St. Joseph. Students can choose from courses in the fields of teaching, education, religious studies, organizational leadership, physical therapy, and nursing.
The athletics teams of the college are members of Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference, and compete in NCAA Division III. The mascot for the teams is the Lion. The men’s and women’s teams participate in baseball, basketball, football, cross country, lacrosse, golf, soccer, tennis, track and field, wrestling, volleyball, and softball.
