College Of The Siskiyous

College of the Siskiyous, also known as COS, is situated in Weed, California, United States. It was established in the year 1957. It is famous for its fire academy which is among the best that exists in California. Degrees and certificates are offered in different areas of study including media communications, visual arts, anthropology, nursing, astronomy, and welding. COS also offers Online courses to outstation students.

The college's sports teams participate in a wide variety of sports such as basketball, volleyball, football, track and field, baseball, and softball. COS also has many student clubs and organizations including the Black Student Union, International Affairs Organization, Photography Club, Phi Theta Kappa Honor society, and Students in Free Enterprise.
