Columbus Technical College, also referred to as Columbus Tech, is located in Columbus, Georgia, United States. It was founded in the year 1961. It was started as a unit of the Muscogee County school District and was known as Columbus Area Vocational Technical School. Columbus Tech grants its students associate degrees and technical certificates in a range of study areas. Columbus Tech is organized into the following academic schools:

  • School of General Studies
  • School of Health Sciences
  • School of Professional and Technical Services

Columbus Tech hosts several student clubs and organizations on campus. Some of the popular organizations are the American Welding Society, Student Nurses’ Association, National Technical Honor Society, Phi Beta Lambda, and International Student Association.
