Concordia University, Nebraska, was originally established as the Concordia Teachers College in 1894. It became a part of the Concordia University System in 1995, and was granted university status in the year 1998. The campus of the university is spread across 120 acres of land in Seward, Nebraska. Concordia University's recent enrollments have been more than 1,000 students from over 40 states and a number of countries worldwide.

Concordia University, Nebraska offers a wide variety of undergraduate and graduate degree programs. Besides, several degree completion and adult education programs are also available.

The sports teams of Concordia University, Nebraska are known as the Bulldogs. The athletics department of the university fields men’s and women’s teams in baseball, basketball, cross country, football, golf, soccer, softball, tennis, track, volleyball, and wrestling.
