Craven Community College is located in New Bern, North Carolina, United States. It was founded in 1965 as an extension of Lenoir Community College. The college has two other campuses. One is located in Havelock, Cunningham Boulevard, and the other campus is the MCAS Cherry Point campus. The college offers degrees, certificate, and diplomas in diverse areas of study including physical education, nursing, criminal justice, mathematics, and biology.

Students participate in various college sports such as basketball, baseball, bowling, scrabble, spades, and quiz bowl. Students have access to a large number of clubs and organizations including Phi Beta Lambda, Phi Theta Kappa, Student Government Association, Rotaract Club, and Book Society.
