Crichton College, also known as CC, is a private, four year Christian college in Memphis, Tennessee. CC was founded in 1941 as a bible study class by Reverend Thomas McKinney. Today, it offers programs at the certificate, associate and bachelor degree levels in subjects including humanities, business science, education, psychology and Christian ministry.
Crichton College participates in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics and the Association of Independent Institutions. The athletics teams, which are nicknamed the Comets, participate in baseball, basketball, cross country, golf, soccer, and volleyball. CC has a Student Government Association that acts as a link between the college authorities and students.
