Dakota County Technical College, also called DCTC, is a public, two-year, technical college located in Rosemount, Minnesota, United States. It was established in the year 1970. DCTC is under the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities System. The main campus is located on 108 acres of land in Rosemount. The college has additional sites in Apple Valley and Eagan. DCTC enrolls more than 3,000 credit students and over 6,000 customized training students.
Students of DCTC can choose from over 40 different programs that lead to A.S. and A.A.S. degrees, diplomas, and certificates. These are offered through the following academic divisions:
The athletic teams of Dakota County Technical College are known as the Blue Knights. The men’s and women’s sports teams participate in baseball, soccer, and softball. Students are also members of clubs and organizations such as Phi Theta Kappa, SkillsUSA, and Multicultural Student Leadership Organization.
