Davenport University is a private, non profit, multi-location university located in Northern Indiana and throughout Michigan. It was established in the year 1866. The university offers Masters Degrees, Bachelors Degrees, Associates Degrees, diplomas and post-grad certification programs in various fields of study like business, technology, health professions and other graduate studies.

The main DU campus is located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. It includes student organizations, clubs, residence halls and athletic programs for the students.

DU is a member of the NAIA Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference. Their sports teams are nicknamed Panthers. The University also has two hockey teams. Davenport has become a Club hockey powerhouse with a number of league titles and a National Championship in 2008.
