Daytona State College, formerly known as Daytona Beach Community College, is a four year college located in Daytona Beach. The college offers several degrees and programs in various areas of study. It is known for its photography and nursing programs.

DSC is home to the renowned Southeast Museum of Photography. The college is also involved in a joint-partnership program with Volusia County and Flagler County school districts known as the Advanced Technology Center.

DSC has a NJCAA program with Baseball, Softball, Women's Golf, Men's Basketball and Women's Basketball teams. Some of the notable alumni of DSC are Eric Breitenbach, a Notable American photographer; Joyce Cusack, a current member of the Florida House of Representatives; and Richard Gibbs, American film composer and music producer.
