Delaware Technical & Community College, also known as DTCC or Delaware Tech, was established in 1966. It is a part of the Delaware community college system and is located in Dover, Delaware. Recently, the college recorded its enrollmetn at more than 44,000 credit and non-credit students per year. DTCC offers several diplomas, certificates, and degrees covering more than 120 programs. It also provides an additional opportunity of distance learning through online courses. Beside the main campus, the college serves several other campuses located in Georgetown, Newark, in Dover, and in Wilmington.

DTCC’s student body is active and impressive. The college possesses a prominent athletics department which participates in several sports competitions and events. Their sports teams are known as the Hawks. The students compete in the National Junior College Athletic Association in men's lacrosse, men's and women's soccer, and women's softball.
