Delgado Community College, which is located in New Orleans, Louisiana, was established as Delgado Central Trades School in 1921, with funds that Isaac Delgado bequeathed to the City of New Orleans for a manual trade school for young boys. The college is a member of the Louisiana Collegiate Intramural-Recreational Sports Association. The athletics teams are known as the Dolphins.
