Overview of Denver School of Nursing
Established in 2003, Denver School of Nursing (DSN) is one of the leading post secondary nursing schools serving students in the Denver, Colorado metropolitan area. Its campus is located in downtown Denver in a modern 25,000 square foot building. DSN offers an upper division Baccalaureate degree, Associate degree programs, and is approved to offer a practical nurse program. Graduates of Denver School of Nursing are eligible to take nursing licensure exams. All DSN programs are approved and regulated by the Colorado Commission on Higher Education.

DSN offers three degree programs: An Upper Division Baccalaureate Program, a (+1) Year Two Associate Degree Program, and an Associate Degree in Nursing. The Baccalaureate Program is a 101-quarter credit-hour educational program offered over seven academic quarters. The (+1) Year Two Associate Degree Program is a 39-quarter credit-hour program offered over four academic quarters. The two year Associate Degree in Nursing Program is an 82-quarter credit-hour program offered over six academic quarters. Each academic quarter lasts eleven weeks. Denver School of Nursing Admissions
All students who apply for admission to DSN must be 18 years old, and be able to provide evidence of high school graduation, GED, or home schooling. Applicants should call DSN's Admissions Office to set up an enrollment interview. Interview materials should include a completely filled out application (available from the website), a copy of unofficial transcripts of all previous course work and a $50 registration fee. Official transcripts must be sent to DSN before starting a program. Applications are reviewed as soon as all required documents are received. Applicants who are not accepted will receive a full refund of any amounts paid.
Denver School of Nursing Faculty Quality
The school has over forty nursing faculty members, all of whom bring educational qualifications and experience in nursing to the classroom. All nursing instructors meet the full requirements of the Colorado State Board of Nursing. Students are regularly advised of their academic progress by faculty, and are provided quarterly grade reports.

The DSN campus is conveniently located on the corner of Market and Nineteenth Streets in the exciting "Lodo" area of downtown Denver in a 25,000 square foot building housing modern classrooms, laboratories and offices. Students have access to dining and shopping during lunch hour at Denver’s 16th Street Mall just 3 blocks away. Parking is available on the street and in surrounding lots.
