Overview of DeVry University Online Programs

DeVry was organized in 1931 and today is one of the largest universities in the United States with brick-and-mortar locations distributed in metro areas throughout the U.S. However, the university also offers an online option that allows students to take advantage of DeVry’s extensive programs options in an extremely flexible and convenient format. Some programs can be completed partially or entirely over the Internet.

DeVry University is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.

DeVry University Online Areas of Study

DeVry’s online program areas fall in the broad categories of business/management and computer programming/information technology. Students studying online can earn associate’s, bachelor’s or master’s degrees.

Faculty Quality

Based on 2007 information, there are well over 1000 DeVry faculty members who are involved in the school’s online learning programs. Most of these faculty members have advanced degrees and many hold doctorates.
