Diablo Valley College is a two-year community college situated in Pleasant Hill in Contra Costa County, California. It was established in the year 1949. The college enrolls more than 25,000 students annually.

DVC has satellite centers situated in San Ramon and Walnut Creek. It also offers classes in other facilities in Concord, Martinez, Danville, and San Ramon. The college offers a variety of occupational specialties, including hotel/ restaurant management, culinary arts, dental technology, and real estate.

The college boasts of a student-run newspaper called "The Inquirer." The official mascot of DVC is Vikings. Some of the notable alumni of the college are Julie Strain, model and actress; Kyle Gass, Member of Tenacious D; and Katharine Ross, actress.
