Founded in 1881, Drake University is a private, co-educational university located in Des Moines, Iowa. It offers a variety of undergraduate and graduate programs as well as professional programs in law and pharmacy. Drake is one of the oldest law schools in the nation. The university is organized into the following academic schools and colleges:
Drake is home to more than 100 student organizations. The athletic teams of Drake compete in the NCAA Division I's Missouri Valley Conference. They are nicknamed the Bulldogs.
Drake is located in Des Moines, IA (a medium-sized city). The school is a private, not-for-profit institution. The highest degree level offered by Drake is the Post-Master's certificate.
