East West University, EWU, is a private undergraduate university in Chicago, Illinois. The university, which was founded in 1980, offers programs at the certificate, associate’s and bachelor’s degree levels in business, mathematics, English, behavioral sciences, computer services, and health sciences among others.
EWU encourages its students to participate in athletics and sponsors a men’s basketball team at the intercollegiate level. The athletics teams are nicknamed the Phantoms.
