Eastern Connecticut State University is a public, coeducational liberal arts university, located in Willimantic, Connecticut. It was established in 1889, and is the second oldest campus in the Connecticut State University System. Eastern is a member of the Council of Public Liberal Arts Colleges. The campus is spread across an area of over 180 acres. The university offers more than 30 undergraduate majors and over 50 undergraduate minor programs. It is organized into the following academic divisions:
Eastern’s sports teams are nicknamed the Warriors and are members of the NCAA Division III, the Little East Conference and the Eastern College Athletic Conference.
