Eastern New Mexico University, also referred to as ENMU or Eastern, has its main campus in Portales, Roosevelt County, New Mexico. This university was legislated in the year 1927 and opened in 1934. There are two branches of ENMU offering degrees to students at Roswell and Ruidoso.
