Elmhurst College is located in Elmhurst, Illinois, United States. It was established in 1871 as Elmhurst Proseminary. This college occupies an area on more than 35 acres. Students are offered degrees and certificate programs in diverse areas of study including music, business administration, liberal studies, professional accounting, and education.

The college's athletic teams are named the Bluejays. Male students participate in a variety of sports including basketball, baseball, cross country, track and field, football, tennis, soccer, golf, and wrestling. Female students are involved in sports such as bowling, basketball, track and field, soccer, cross country, golf, tennis, softball, and volleyball. The on-campus Greek fraternities and sororities include Alpha Phi Alpha, Phi Beta Sigma, Delta Sigma Theta, and Phi Mu.
